Throughout his 30-year career in healthcare, Walt has focused on solutions and resources for providers across the healthcare spectrum. With extensive experience at the intersection of healthcare services and technology, Walt has held leadership roles in the Pharmaceutical, Managed Care, Hospital, Physician, and Alternate Site segments. He is committed to bringing providers the resources necessary to maintain clinical independence and operate effectively. At BEST, Walt focuses on identifying and deploying the solutions, technology and resources our members need to support their practices and operate effectively.

Although he has been all around the world, Dr. Daniel Nelson feels most at home in the Mountain West. Born in Denver and raised in the Salt Lake Valley, “Dr. Dan” has his roots deep in the Rockies. He and his wife, Linsey, met and married while attending Utah Valley University, and are alumni of both UVU and the University of Utah. Following graduation from the U of U, Dr. Nelson earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine – Arizona in 2012. He then went on to complete an Advanced Education Residency in General Dentistry with the Air Force in Nebraska. Dan now calls Hailey Idaho home. Here he co-owns Wood River Dental Care and is one of the founders of Elevation Association.

Matt Mulcock is a CFP® professional who spent five years as an Investment and Financial Consultant for one of the largest asset managers in the world before transitioning to Dentist Advisors in 2018. His expertise includes portfolio construction, investment management, retirement planning, insurance, debt management, and tax reduction. In addition to advising dentists across the country, he oversees advisor development and the implementation of service improvements. Matt is co-host of the Dentist Money™ Show podcast and author of the “Money Matters” blog.

Tanya Dunlap, PhD is Vice President of Clinical and Business Development at Perio Protect, where she has worked since 2005. For several years she served as the research liaison for the company, working with researchers who tested Perio Tray® therapy in controlled clinical trials and microbiology studies. Her expertise on this adjunctive periodontal therapy is grounded in the data, explaining how the prescription trays work, and which patient candidates can benefit from them.
